$55 to run all night
$18 or $20 to watch

You need long sleeve clothing and a helmet so you are allowed to run, also you need to make sure you battery is secure and that you a have a bottle conected to your radiator overflow. I think thats all.

Hey Mate,

Im intrested in coming down but what time is it? And i don't have a helmet but cant they lend us a helmet whilst at the drags?

I don't have a bottle connected to the radiator! Does it matter?

Cheers

Good results for me tonight at Calder park. My fastest run was 15.12, down from 15.62 last time. :sm_headba

The only new mods were the electronic shift kit and LSD with 3.73 gears. I'll get the timeslip up soon as I am at work at the moment.

My car is an AU S1 auto forte with the following mods:
-pacemaker 4499
-reback 2.5" exaust with highflow cat
-LSD with 3.73 gears
-electronic shiftkit
Thats all the go fast bits.

I want to install my unichip that is sitting in my room but not sure if I should get a cam as well.

Forget the Unichip and cam for now, you are already making really good power. Spend the money on a higher stall converter....you'll be well into the 14's.

Most guys with 3000rpm converters are 60 footing around the 2.0x-2.1x mark. With a 60 foot time in that range, you would be running around 14.7-14.8.

I shouldn't talk though, I've still got the stock converter in my ute, and as much as I know it will help, I keep getting sucked into other mods...

Anyway, good time man, thats very impressive from a forte with just a zorst and gears.

as xr8ute said, get a stall converter, then when you have the money next time around get a cam, and get the chip installed and it will more than likely give you low 14's to high 13's...well that may be pushing it a bit...but a time like that with so little mods, very well done
