I was after some instructions on how to flush my break fluid. I found a pretty good doco on the PBR website http://www.pbrperformance.com.au/doc...System_000.pdf
and wondered if there was any other steps/pointers that people could point out? Do any other steps need to be taken because of the ABS? Thanks

If you're on Bris northside there is a crew at Lawnton that have a special on brake fluid flush/replace @ $20.
I thought I'd bookmarked them but I can't find it. I'm about to get busy but I'll have a search later and get back to you. |

For future ref the name of the company is Aussie Automotive Services. They have a website with a "specials" section but I'm damned if I can find it. Good luck with it... it can be a messy job. |

As above, they are Aussie Automotive Services at Lawnton. My guess would be that they use a brake fluid that meets the appropriate standard for my vehicle. So far, so good... the brakes still work ;) I got the info off their website. It used to be aussieautomotiveservices.com which now goes nowhere. However, aussieautomotiveservices.com.au goes to a work in progress page. I guess you could always call them and ask if the special is still available. |
