Hey guys
Im looking at fitting Climate control to my EA. Now I was going to source a EA GHIA series 2 dash loom from Pickapart for the dash as ive collected all the other bits i need (Thanks dansedgli ). Can the EA GHIA dash loom plug straight into the enginebay loom without any problems? Do i have to run a EA GHIA enginebay loom aswell? as my current enginebay loom is just GL. Also Does anyone know if the Airtemp sensor at the front of the car is on a separate loom or the enginebay loom?

Air temp sensor (ambient temp) is all part of the same loom.
I think you will need to change both looms for this reason.

Yeah you'll need to change both looms.
Like Dellboy said, the ATS is part of the body loom that goes round to the lights and horn. To add to your problems every couple of months Ford changed all the looms either by changing a plug, adding one or changing some wiring. You'd have to get a loom from a car that was made around the same time as yours otherwise you'll be changing everything. Sundeep Last edited by Sundeep; 16-03-2005 at 11:07 AM. |

So If I was to get a Dash wiring loom & Body Loom from the same Series 2 (1990) Ghia that would be ok?

After alot of searching today, I noticed that these damn wiring looms are not cheap! :jab:
EA Series 2 Ghia Dash loom - $40 upwards EA series 2 "front end loom" aka engine loom - $40 upwards Now Can anyone tell me if the EB2 non smartlock engineloom and dash loom will work? Im guessing it wont due to the auto ECU being separate? What about EB1? Thx
