Default Royal National Park Cruise - Sunday 20th March 2005

.... Copied from old forum site ....

Cruise south thru The Royal National Park into Wollongongs northern suburbs, and then to a nice pub with a great big screen to watch the V8's. These type of events have proved to be very popular in the past!!!
The pub I have arranged for us to go to, is called The Palm Court hotel in Corrimal. They have restaurants on site (Thai & Indian). They do not have a regular pub bistro though. The pub however is in the heart of Corrimal cbd so there'd be something there for everyone tastes.
Will have meeting times and Places soon

Just a reminder, the coast road is closed at Stanwell park.
Once through the N.P you have to go through Stanwell Tops and enter back onto the expressway "F6", and then head down Bulli Pass

The Palm Court is one of my "locals".
Manjits Indian Restaurant is quite good. I havent tried the Thai one there yet. UNFORTUNATELY, there is very limited parking. The spaces are usually taken up by employees and the delivery van. Parking maybe availsble on the Princess Hwy, and Railway Street, but on a Sunday it is not vey good.
Corrimal Court / Stocklands shopping centre is next door, but the rednecks dont care about dinging your car, its a definate keep away from.

There is a small Chinese place, and a Noodle Bar as well, not sure of opening times, I will advise.

Regards

Paul

That could be a good idea, if anyone wants to meet there at 8am and depart at 8:30am sharp. I will be there to meet up with anyone that wants to cruise down to Loftus oval to meet the rest of the group.

If you are going to meet at Silverwater boat ramp, it is right next to the Silverwater bridge opposite the Dirty Dicks Restraunt and club.
