Bought my first new car in 2004, was a Blueprint BA XR6 Turbo, just recently bought a new 2006 BF GT.

Nope no way. I saved $20,000 on my XR8 because it was three months old and had 3000kms on it.

yep picked up mine 12/4/06 ba xr8 runout price $41k on road (auto, premium sound). my first new car and i could'nt be happier.

I brought my AU11 XR8 Ute new.
Sold it 18 months old for stuff all : : and brought the BA XR8 Ute new.

First car was a family hand me down, Xf Falcon GL Wagon, my first (and current) car is the EL.

Fiesta bought it in Early 05'. In the most recent years years Mum and Dad Bought Two XR6's: an AUIII VCT and a BA Both Brand new too..

Ford Fiesta Zetec 05 WP from new. keep till lease ends in 08 june then upgrading to a 4 door as need the room. not sure what yet. second hand though. at the moment looking at XR's

One bought new and one bought second/third/forth-hand 18 years ago.

Old - hard getting some parts
Not so precious about the paint
Don’t have to run in the engine (more concerned about wearing it out)

New - reliability and user-friendliness
The first scratch really hurts
Driving it off the lot and thinking how much $$$ you are losing
