I used to own a V-TEC Prelude. Affectionately know as "the rickshaw". It's what Japs get about in.

In my opinion your toast. My Rickshaw was able to dust HSV's let alone 6 cyl falcs.

I had it 18 months did 80,000km. Belted the crap out of it. Only problem was stone chips. If they still made them I'd buy another. And I bleed Ford Blue. A good car.

What did you do to your car to get the weight down that low? Replaced the IRS with live axle? :

Secondly, there was no Sprint in AUIII XR6 flavour. The bean counters got in and removed the "PRIN".

The honda will destroy the vct au stocker. The 172 kw hondas run 13's. A vct au will run a 16..put it into perspective...still you blokes are funny...

Honda's can move after a few mods :P
A 600hp skyline still running 15.3.... yeah right.

13.4 isn't lightnening quick either but its enough to move, but I doubt the civic has 400hp at all.

I reckon the au will beat it, the honda is faster over the quarter, but they normally do drive by's after the race is over lol.

VX's didnt go past 155 kw's at the fly from memory...

Either way im going to have a crack at this guy, its all in good fun!

Besides, as i get more work done to the VCT his car will be a good comparison if i dont beat it when we race.

Some people might hate threads like this but i think it brings about good discussion and experiences.

Put in persective, my 2L Focus ran a 16.2 stock, 110kw ~1300kg... Prelude's 143kw and 1200kg will probably eat you.

Was the VX and the VZ both V6s? If so thats your problem...a stock 1988 EA Falcon can put down better times than those two models stock.

either way i don't usually get into these discussions but the lighter weight 4 cylinders can surprise the big cars off the line
