Very well. Can't find any pictures of it though...

It's in SM march 89 if anyone has it.

Done by Bobby Roman at Autotek. Originally they just did a 2 door conversion of the EA, then they chopped the roof off it. Don't think it actually had a roof though. Still, nice piece of kit. Not like this POS...

This is actually something quite weird. The EA is said to have come out in early 88', but there are actually a number of 87' EAs out there. There was one at pick-a-part last year. 1987, 3.2 litre, with a manual choke! It was very weird.

Yep, e-mutant thread.

Terrible car, ugly, wrong, yada yada.

Well of course it does not fit in here, it is not "fully sick" like the ones here with sigs that read like a SuperCheap and City wreckers sponsoured year 10 art class metalwork project. It is original, not a copy of a copy of a copy that is so cool coz my mates reckon it is.

All the "experts" fighting over the years that EA came out and what other models looks the same and yet no one has actually notices that the car is not an EA it is a 1992 EB 4 litre.

yep, e-mutant thread.

...And about the EA Dates, the EA was offically released i Feb '88, but there were cars allready in production, hence some comming with an '87 plate.

Thumbs down EA Convertable

This was for sale last month starting at 99 cents
so I put a couple of bids on it
I was the top bidder at $2850 and he pulled it from Ebay
I also asked about the roof and I got sent pics it was totally stuffed
clear plastic had gone black in the sun and the top was tatty
I asked why it was pulled and he said the bids were too low
so never again

It doesnt look too bad from the front. The rear doesnt really suit a convertible. Colour scheme is crap.

That Recaro one looks a lot better.

Original EA not bad? I still think that untouched examples in good condition look fresh. One of Ford's best designs. Up there with the original XK and XR in terms of originality. They still turn my head.

But not so sure about convertibalised versions.

With a few modifications it wouldnt look to bad i mean the idea of a convertible E Series car is laughable but the only way to silence the critics is to make one that looks good ! It is possible but that ones above are not !
