I got a phone call from Ford today, some customer service thing... and they didn't know anything about a recall

due to mine being dec06 build (close to build dates recalled) i gave my dealer a call, and likewise, didn't know, or pretended not to know of any recall. had a look at my details on the computer and then told me that because mine is a mk2 it would have the later update on it anyway.

obviously didn't realise that its the later ones having the issues. instills you with confidence doesn't it. surely all dealers should be first to know, not the media and the public.
