Without starting another what tows better, what tows safer ect thread
Ive been in a turbo diesel auto 80 series cruiser
Towing at 110 Ks up hill ,pulling near 3 tonne (tandem trailer and small truck )
This thing will accelorate from this speeds up hills with this load
Most 4x4s are expensive to run, hell they weigh near 3 tonne
(nearly 2 commondores or falcons)
Thats without any trailers ect on the back
Add a 2 -2.5 tonne loaded trailer , then its 5-5.5 tonne all up

AU to BF V8 fairlanes better to tow than most 4x4s ?????
Wouldnt think the Fairlanes would have the towing capacity of the 4x4s
I wouldnt tow any large loads 2-3 tonne without a full chassis underneath the tow car
