so I guess the idle motor is part of the throttle body, can it be replaced seperately or complet throttle body? car is fine on highway, and pulls hard so seems to get plenty of fuel / pressure.

You can just buy the idle motor sits on top of throttle body
Ford still sell them around $220 or just get second hand one she'll run smother Clean it out with carby cleaner BUT DONT spray towards the motor (the cylinder ) If the revs fluctuate when idling or when coming to a stop and has rough idle BUT doesn't fluctuate while accelerating It's the IDLE MOTOR ......... You won't get any codes for this |

Change the fuel pressure regulator anyway
It's might have never been changed You'll always get good fuel pressure on highway CAUSE theirs more suction from the engine which will compensate for a dirty regulator |

After you've done all that clear all codes
Supercheap auto can do it now for $20 Then while your still at supercheap auto reset ecu you don't need to disconnect batt just pull out the fuse for the ecu 10min and stick back in and reset like midgetyone said |
