8.7L Jezzus! That's awesome.
I know that a German could make the same power with a 6 cylinder, but a massive engine is just great. I don't know why But I still love big V8s 10 and 12's

Still I personally prefer the Corvette over the Viper.

I remember seeing a Viper racing in the Trans Am series. Trans Am rules only allowed a 5-liter V8 at the time, so this Viper had a 5-liter V8. I don't know if it was even a Mopar engine. It may have been a de-stroked version of their NASCAR engine.

Apparently it has the most torque of any naturally aspirated donk going around, producing something like 850 Nm. As they say with the viper enough torque to disrupt the earths rotational spin lol. Also for any one interested the new Viper is available for download free on Forza 4

Are you serious???? Get your ears check as the Lambo V10 sound amazing compare to alot of shonky V8 sound out there!!! And V8 in a viper = boring choice!!!

The Viper V10 is amazing engine and it would have had competition if Ford release the V10 in it next generation AC Cobra!!!

I really like the next Generation viper!!!

Remember that I'm an American. I like an OHV (or even Flathead) V8 rumble.
your not alone Moby Vic, i`ve always thought the v10 sounds a bit effeminate.....even poofy if ya like compared to a v8, a V8 sounds just right, even v12`s compared to an 8 sound wrong imo, about the only high cylinder count motor i like is the gm 2 stroke diesel v8,v12,v16 etc, but to each his own.

Carroll Shelby (RIP) was a consultant and part of the engineering team for the first Viper.

Everything that man touched turned to gold...
