Reading that description is really sad. He's obviously spent a fortune on it, and hardly used it. The "more collectible than a GT" line smacks of desperation, and lets be honest, he's selling what probably cost him over 65K (new car, wheels, interior, mods etc) with a sticker price of 27k, and he'll struggle to get 15k. Seriously, if you're gonna customise a car and not use it, then at least try to hang on to it.
The line of "goes like a jet" I find really funny - most jets don't really accelerate that hard, far too much stress on the air frame when you're trying to get 400 tonnes moving from a standstill to 270kph in around 4000m. Another thing, if he's in a high profile job, why is he selling his pride and joy. I actually feel sorry for Hulk, hope he hasn't fallen on hard times.

Have met him at the drags, personality does not match the bloke behind the keyboard, i must say his vehicles that i have seen for sale and on this forum that he owned previously are always very well presented........
Shame that most of his threads had a 'niggle' in them.......he sure knew how to upset people... |

I also believe that he works in a field that involves human psychology and that we were his testing ground....

He started with one of his signature type of threads on would you buy a Redline or an XR8 with the typical baiting focusing on what he felt was the down side of both cars. One of the members pointed out who he was and that he’d recently been banned twice in quick succession from AFF and questioned his reasons for being on LS1. He fired back that as long as he posted within the rules of the Forum he should be allowed to continue with his thread and also added some very disparaging remarks about the way AFF is moderated. He was permanently banned and his thread and all his posts were deleted. |

The reports of people actually seeing this guy in the flesh and him not matching his online character just tells me he doesn't have any mental issues but is in it for the troll factor. He gets his jollys in trolling, plain and simple.

He was indeed a master troller and to be honest I found his posts and threads very entertaining. Where people went wrong was actually taking him seriously - I'm sure he never intended to be.
Nothing about that car makes sense - a BF XR6 Turbo is never going to be particularly collectible, no matter what condition it's in or few km's traveled. Having said that they do have hero status and a cult following so will always be in demand - but as they get older it's only the completely original examples that will command the highest prices. This one has been molested well and proper! Regardless what you think of the modifications, the market values original cars. Then there's the fact that after spending all that money on the thing, he never actually enjoyed it - as the low km's attest. It's difficult to think of a bigger waste of money! And it's orange.... |
