Yes every manufacturer has lemons, but in Jeeps case they have way more than anybody else, and the way they dealt with it in the past was a disgrace. |

We've had a few Grand Cherokees come in with electrical issues with the suspension setup and they're still under warranty. If Jeep and VW ran a restaurant it'd have 5 star reviews on Google and Facebook but you'd go in and order the 3 course main at $300 and get crap on toast covered in sprinkles for all 3 courses, the presentation of it would be so great you'd eat it up with a big brown grin and tip the chef, then give them a 5 star review on Facebook and Google. |

Maybe jeep can build aeroplanes with Volkswagen engines and Samsung batteries. Now there is something to talk about.

Considering the issues with that come up within a 3 year warrenty, jeep mechanics will have to all go on a course to talk bull, and lie hard to deny warrenty. To the extent of claiming the electric windows don't work because they were never designed to go down and the customer put them down.... they should have adopted the lotus approach. Once it leaves the driveway, it's the owners problem. I do work for a guy who had an evora for 3 months. He only drove it for 2 weeks and the rest of the time it was at the dealer with most the repairs costing him. Then he traded it for an evora s. Similar story.

Current daily is a current model Jeep GC SRT under warranty. Prior to that, was a 2013 300 SRT.
Fixed under warranty 300 SRT: - Carbon fibre trim - Bluetooth module - Water pump - Side mirror cover gap in plastic - Exhaust rattle - Sunroof rattle - External temperature sensor Post selling the vehicle, the new buyer kept in touch (since i told him that some items replaced as part of warranty were still under the mandatory 3 year warranty) and more carbon fibre trim was starting to delaminate. Some has been covered (since already replaced once less than 3 years ago) and others not. Parts prices are ridiculous! Fixed under warranty- Jeep SRT - Centre bearing replaced. - Leather dash replaced. - Faulty oil pressure sensor. - Adjustable suspension dampers - Aircon software error - Transmission recall (probably a Klingon inside job) Currently booked in to go for more work: - Misaligned driver door panel and rear boot (uneven gaps) - Exterior fender trim delaminating - Carbon fibre trim starting to delaminate. - Sunroof sunshade lining slips off left track sometimes Build quality- vastly superior to my wife's diesel Territory (or my previous Falcon FF6) which is literally falling to bits! Customer service- surprisingly adequate Fun factor- insane! Overall rating- Issues have been an annoying inconvenience, but i look forward to driving my car everyday. Will definitely be opting for the 'There and back' warranty extension if offered to all Jeeps currently under warranty. Would i buy another: 100%!! Hellcat, come at me bro!

2011 - 2016 LC200 80,000km. No warranty issues - just a service every 10,000km 2016 LC2000 20,000km Stitch came loose on the rear seat leather trim. Fixed at first service. Big difference to the Jeep warranty list in the post above.

What were the issues and why would they be not taking them to Jeep under warranty to resolve Franco?
