I have seen a few of the cars advertised afterwards too. But the ones advertised are now in Koorda which is a long way from Hines hill were the auction was.

I don't know, maybe car flipper at work.

When I was at the site the day before the auction, I asked about an 66 XR ute, I was told that was to be in next years auction???
So I guess they must be thinking of making this an annual thing?

A friend of mine went. He said that pretty much all but 2 of the cars were sold - the two most expensive ones. However, there was to be another auction in the first quarter of 2022 whereby all of the parts in the sea containers would be sold. Once that was done, everything would be sold.

The XC Falcon ute listed here in Koorda (now) was the one I looked at, was advertised as V8 and 4 speed, but tag says 6 cylinder. Very rusty in the fuel tank area. Now seems to be missing headlights??

Not 100% sure but I think the Toyota stout went to Koorda as well. Now for sale $2800.

I don't think I can really be accused of hijacking this thread because it's slowing down a bit ... Last Thursday I was on a train going west of Bacchus Marsh. Three or four years ago there I saw an old, closed-down wrecking yard, about one minute west of the BM station, immediately next to the line on the south side. Someone must be clearing it and about half the cars have gone; they were mostly body shells from recent decades but with a few older things like an MGB or Midget shell, two Citroen DS (I think) shells etc. (Not really worth starting a thread on this, I thought.) There is a big shed there - I wonder what's inside?
