I go for health reasons but if I can get the guns happening then it's all good too.
The perve factor is in there too but it's a pretty expensive way to go about it if that's all you're there for. Quote:

Sarcasm was screaming from my other post... the laughing emoticon should have actually told you that.. Anyway back to the issue within the thread.. Today there was an announcement that the local gym here was given 6months free membership if you joined for a year.... That has to be an alright deal I was thinking...

I think there needs to be an option of all of the above. Weight training is the biggest priority for me though.
As for what BlueXr8 says, I agree. We are allowed to be picky. |

To lift some heavy a$$ weights! (well eventually :hihi: ) Also for the health benefits, aesthetic reasons, because I can and because if I'm away from the gym for any longer than a week I feel like a lazy turd (energy levels are definately noticable)
And if I happen to catch a glimpse of an attractive young female between sets then my gaze might linger a little longer _2: |

Weight training is definitely the reason I go. I've been trying to bulk up for a couple of years now. Perving is just an added bonus.
In regards to fat chicks, while I dont perve on them its good they're there trying to do something about it. |

"It is only shallow people who do not judge by appearances. The true mystery of the world is the visible, not the invisible." - Oscar Wilde, The Picture of Dorian Grey
Mind you, he also said "Women are a decorative sex. They never have anything to say, but they say it charmingly"

I go to the gym regularly but I could hardly say I enjoy it or use it to socialise. In fact I actually don't like it when people try to talk to me while working out. I can only concentrate on one thing at a time..lol It could get ugly with 100 or so kgs hanging over my head!

After my wife's third child she was a size 18, originally when we got together and got married she was a size 12. I really didn't care what she looked liked, because she is a great gal...and I love her to death. She eventually got frustrated with her weight, and after 2 years of hard work at the gym, she is about to enter a Female Physique competion. I'm really proud of her. She was to enter last years comp but found she was four months pregnant, 5 weeks before the comp and that ended that. In 7 weeks time from now, she will be re-attending the same comp and she looks fantastic. She has a full six pack....after 4 kids...and looks very trim, very muscular, very cut & ready for a national championship and is complaining her size 8 clothes are to big.....best thing of all is her strength...i cannot beat her in a arm restle. Her comp is at central coast leagues club on October 11th..... Will post some before and after pics for you...... Cheers

I go to the gym because I played Rugby league and it helped out alot .I go now because I can not handle my moods if I don't go .My weights are no longer as heavy as they once were but I work out alot harder now .I can get though my workout that used to take me and my training parter 2hrs in just 45mins which gives me more time to spend on fitness now .
