Had the gearbox out to replace clutch. New gaskets right through.New gearbox mounts new uni joints front and back. Dropped the diff oil and replaced. New plugs and points as well as rotor button and condensor and dissy cap as well as leads. Put my timing light on it. not to far out,Still got the low pressure throttle hesitation. So got a new set of feeler gauges. My old ones have not been used for twenty years as least so are worse for wear.Reset points and had a play with the mixture screw and the old bird is running sweeter than ever before. Cruising just became so much better.

I'm playing "swap the AUII steering rack" today. with a few side games of "fix the leaky power steering pump" and "drop the exhaust, coz it's in the way". Wish me luck.
My soft office hands have been getting a workout this week.

Rec leave is not for holidays, it's for fixing the car.

Ordered front brakes for the Territory from Matt at Race Brakes and had a good chat as well.

Some nice stoppy bits coming onto the seen for the Ford boys as well.

Purchased this standard and fitted rims, rubber, suspension, hard top, roll bar and fixed seat, its had a few fun track days, cheap as chips and fun.

86 ATWKW, not much power but quicker around the track than cars with more than twice the power.

Topped up the tank with the last 5 litres of 98 that I use in the mower. I fill my 20l jerry can at the start of grass growing season and save keeping six month old fuel through winter that will be 12 month old fuel by the time I will need it again, the car ends up drinking it!

Collected my girl from the auto electrician today after the power steering oil was leaking on to my alternator which in turn stopped working on saturday evening in Mentone yep she broke down! The power steering oil leak was also stopped with new power steering fluid piping & alternator was replaced with a genuine ford type.

Sorry for poor quality pic.

Fitted a transmission cooler to the bf and got rid of the leaking plastic thermostat. Heat exchanger is gone too. Also gave the trans a new filter but it will need a full flush.

I Put some new nolathane swaybar links on the front to match the whiteline 27mm swaybar thats been on there for bit over a year.

I redid the entire front end with Superpro bushes last friday (man that took so long), noticed they were pretty loose and few had broken boots.

Did some work on my little under radio custom flush mount for starter button/parrot bluetooth/some switches

Wasn't today, was yesterday arvo, but gave it a wash, then a few hours later, had to go oh so gently remove tiny little kitty paw prints from it.

Cats.......... Everytime I wash my car, next time I go out to it, there is paw prints and fur on it......
