Hi,
My name is john and I used to own a John Goss Special.
I sold it many years ago and I'm trying to track it down.
It was built in OCT 75, JG65RU 47278K. It was emerald fire green, auto, single exhaust,
original rego VIC IHT-115. The car was sold in Qld around 1999.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On another topic, this forum is outstanding, so many quality cars and knowledgable enthusiasts.
Keep up the great work people.
XB GT COUPE rebuild FTW, that car is amazing!!!!!!!!!!

Default hey im new here

hey i thourt i would introduce my self hear...

my name is luke i live in SA... ive been pashanet about fords for about 10 years now.

i havnt owned many realy hot fords yet. but im on the look for one at the moment.

i am a fitter and turner and a pritty good welder, so i have allways worked on cars since i was about 16. and from then allways owned a ford of some sort

the fords i have had are a TF cortina. it was done up origanial condition. verry nice car. ive had a fue XF falcones, i had a BA GTP. 290 boss but some guy ran into it while it was parked and worte the car off. at the moment i have a crappy EF falcon station wagon, and a verry nice XF falcon ute.

at the moment im looking at geting rid of my ute and im geting a XB coupe. or mabby a XA... im looking at byeing a roller for about $5k i have one lined up but i think the boddy had a bit too much rust. im gonna have to look at geting a 2nd opineion on it... the up side the car comes with all the stuff like GT stearing week dach seats grill and so on.

i thourt i would join so i might be able to get some advice from other ford guys who might know a bit more then i do just in case i get stuck with some thing...

Welcome Carnige,

There's a few coupes on ebay at the moment, some good for the money, others not so. Be very weary, but as you can weld, anything is possible. Just have a look at Recoils XA Coupe project.

G'day carnige, as said, check all all the coupes in the "project cars" section. That will give you a good idea what your in for!

It will also show you where to look for rust in the coupe's your looking at.

Good luck.

Hey guys I'm 18 years old and looking for a Job as an Apprentice Mechanic 'cause I don't know stuff all about cars. I'm Into fords myself. But will be getting one later on In life. Just moved to Sydney from New Zealand. So yes I am a kiwi. I'm loacted around the Manly area In Northern Sydney. Lot of awesome cars on here! Unfortunately because I'm only a P1 driver I'm prohibited to certain cars. But In New Zealand even a learner can drive any car! Awesome huh? Anyways the name's Johnny. Not ya typical 18 year old man! ;)
