The driving position is not brilliant. I'm unable to move the wheel to the right angle. I'm too close to the roof and I'm only a Collingwood six-footer.
The absence of a left foot rest. The FGs don't have them either. Astonishing. The paint chips too easily. The relatively small fuel tank. The wee spring-loaded door on the fuel filler system which scratches when fuel blows back and it gets wet. Otherwise, I'm very pleased with it.

how the 1st gears in automatic AU's are so ridiculously long.
how my interior is a very light colour and gets dirty quickly oh and how its atad thirsty compared to 4cylinder cars for a yr12 student its hard to pay for fuel when working once every week or two apart from that i really like it |

I hate how mine idles really low... feels like its going to stall then this big rush of emotion (PANIC) comes over me... so i tap the accelerator and sometimes the person next to me thinks I want to drag them :/

All in all, I'm really happy with my EF. It's 13 years old, so I can't really complain.

- Dodgy brake pedal feel (ok, so any pedal feel would be good.....)
- First gear is way too long in the auto.... - Why do i have to have a base model BEM.....it would be so much easier if Ford just had the same BEM/wiring for all EFs (wish on the mod fairy...)

In my xf it is the lack of headroom in the drivers seat (if I'm wearing a cap I have to remove it) and in my ZC it would be the drivers seat which has been nicely retrimmed but not resprung and it feels like you are sitting on a toilet seat.

Ahh yes. some people have reminded me of a couple of things that annoy me.
Having a drink in the cup holder does make it difficult to change gears. Also even at it's lowest the seat is a bit too high for my liking. I'm a fairly big bloke (6'1") but not huge and I like to sit low in the car. Another thing the grab handle elbow rest is too low but the trim is too high to rest your elbow. Even though I do and I now have a worn spot. |

I hate the AU power window buttons. They are positioned too far back on the door.
