Kia Carnival/Grand Carnival comes to my mind right away. I know burnz mentioned it earlier, but I'm yet to see something uglier and duller than it. A mistake on wheels.

VE Maloo makes me cringe anytime I see one. They may be a good car (may the key word), but it is so ugly I would still say no.

Why all the camry bashing? I just bought a sportivo and it isn't that bad to look at else I would have gone the 05 XR6. If the sportivo was as ugly as sin, even though it is cheaper to run and insure I would not have got it. Each to their own.

probably been said 100 times in this thread alone. but I will resay it. Prius!

But what I hate more is people who openly say that they like the styling... openly and unashamedly.... what a world.

Oh yes very ugly indeed. I did hire one to tour around VIC and averaged 5.5L per 100km. Very big inside and very well thought out [as big inside as a late Falcon] As much power as any other 4cyl car, but the tourqe of a V8 super car. Pitty you don't get to use it as the traction control kicks in and spoils your fun.

Very very ugly indeed.

Build a bridge, i have an AU mate and we have coped it for years and it still goes on.

As for Maloo i think in the looks dept it has it all over the FPV SP ute.

I don't think any ford could possibly lose in an ugly comp to this. The front is o.k but in the flesh this rear end is 10x uglier than in this pic. Also how does one actually see what is behind them through that miniscule window?

i love the rears of the Maloo - every time i see it i think - if lamborghini were to build a ute, thats what it would look like from the front doors back.

heres an ugly ugly one.. Isuzu Vehicross - not sure if you can get them here but i saw one on the road a few weeks ago - had me intrigued!

I'd still own one in red with big black rims and 32" tyres

Each to there own i guess but you have shown it in one of the worst colours aswell. And yes i have seen numerous in the flesh. I just think they are big and brutal in their looks, very in your face.
Anway lets not dwell on it though

A drop is suspension, S3 16" wheels, the S2/3 tail-lights and the ute grill, and it would have been a completely different car in 1998.

mate this thing is a beast....that colour colour is horrid...but the HSV maloo is a hot ride...

personally i think;

-the new Honda Civic Type R is hideous
- and i might get flamed for this, but here goes... the R34 Skyline (more so the ugly rear end)

I've always maintained that they should have just released the Series 2 right from the start. The VT still probably would have flogged it, but not by as much, and the reputation of AU's as "the ugly model" would have been negated

Put an AU1 next to a VT and we'll see which has aged better.... The rear end of the VT is a disaster.

Ok I was gonna say anything by Skoda. But then I came across this. Its a Skoda Fabia, and now I can't decide if its drop dead gorgeous or deceptivley ugly.

Specs are impressive though, 500 hp at 7,800 rpm and 443 lb-ft of torque at 3,700 rpm. Zero to 62 mph comes up in 2.7 seconds.
