Thanks for the comparison with the LPG Falcon
mines old school Tickford dual fuel in an AU and petrol costs are closer to $1.30 than $1.20 but mines @ 59cents/litre so about half the cost of a petrol car to run and probably about the same as a hybrid Camry I still know which car I would have thanks John |

The old LPG CO2 debate is always a good one.
I wonder if you took into account the whole CO2 amount from its manufacture to its end use how it would compare the Petrol. Remember LPG is a by-product of the oil industry.

The CO2 created from the extraction, importing and refining of oil to produce a litre of petrol is almost as much as the CO2 emissions at the TP What can make a difference is where the lpg comes from. Australia has large reserves of lpg that doesnt come from importing and refining of oil into petrol and that can give lpg a distinct CO2 advantage here. |
