No, you've got that backwards, I'm trying to coax you out into the light.
Just sit in a Sportsman and feel the difference in the seats. Those LTD 10 way seats are a step up again from a regular Fairlane, They are the best seats ford have made IMO. Bushbasher

I personally wouldn't touch a patrol car or Highway car but if you could snag a detectives car or assistant commisioners' car or something you'd have to have a look.
As for mine, um, no, go find your own, .

cop are are very well maintained. they are driven fast in their duty but lets face it these cars are meant to be driven not babied. nothing wrong with a good ex cop car in my opinion

To clarify about the cop cars, I wouldn't touch a metro patrol car or highway car because although they ARE well maintained they are also flogged mercilessly and curb hopped and hammered through spoon drains and the like and floored from cold without a chance to warm up etc, etc. If you got hold of a 1 man station country cops car there's less chance it's been hammered in the same way so it may be worth a look but you'd want to know where it was stationed.

Issues with the car; Exhaust has a small hole, sounds terrible though was quoted $50 to fix it. Electric windows are getting slow to move up and down window tint has become old and bubbled a bit. front passenger wheel is missing one nut Hand brake needs to be tightened. Front and back wheel bearings went literally last time I drove it. How much to do the above? UK (Forum mods if this kinf of thread is not allowed just say the word)

The only jobs you'd think of farming out would be the rear bearings perhaps and a full re-tint after you stripped the old tint off. The rest of the work you could do in your driveway depending on what the exhaust hole.

It might be cheaper to just go to a wreckers and pick up a half shaft with bearing on.
