The Mustangs seem to be pretty reliable, they just have issues with panel alignment, which is not a reliability concern. That's a fit and finish issue, which they really need to improve. |

yes and no Boss re Stang, look at Professor's experiences and already flipped off the lime green within months, yep there are many good ones out there as well.
Ford is by no means near Jeep even I'll vouch for that but there moments have been huge at times. How many B/FG/X series diffs are being replaced for eg, some owners are onto their 4th one ! Jeep shot themselves in foot after all the good work they did to build up sales to couple of years ago their Customer Service went down the gurgler. Wasn't there a Dealer re structure at the time AND owners were left high and dry on their recalls and WTY work. They lost the plot completely. I don't blame owners going OTT - my wife pre 2018 loved her Patriot, we had it trouble free till 75tho clicks, then a fuel pump issue, it was such a PIA to get that resolved it was not funny..... Wifey wasn't too happy no2 son on his fresh 6mths red P's wrote it off I wasn't that unhappy she deserved her first brand new car lol.....problem solved.

Aren't you one of the members on here who hates Cadogan? The link above that you provided Ford 'beat' FCA in the Lemon brand list. I'm not sure why you are posting all these links. I never said Jeep was some amazing reliable car. All I said is that there are people out there who have returned to the brand because they have had no issues on multiple cars. A Jeep with no issues is not a Unicorn. It's less common than say Toyota, but it seems the people who have never owned one complain more than people who owned one and got screwed over with issues. Well I have to take a break from car related videos of Scotty Kilmer, Uncle Tony's Garage, Alan Howatt, John Cadogan and watch electronics related things like EEV Blog, Big Clive, Electroboom, Techmoan and Louis Rossmann from time to time.

So an eight year old vehicle. I think those issues are probably the last owner or owners more than the manufacturer. |

The Service 4WD and traction control light are probably related. You could get the system 'flashed' and it may come good. Or it could be the Transmission control module. $300 or so to fix that. Bumper bar loose - not great but not too weird for a car of that age. Engine rattle - heard people complain about that a few times. People say check this and that but then I never hear any follow up. No one comes back ranting that their engine blew up. |
