Cool Simpsons did it...

Lets not forget that chicks car on the Simpsons....

Can you name the truck with four wheel drive,
Smells like a steak, and seats thirty five?
Canyonero! Canyonero!
Well, it goes real slow with the hammer down
It's the country-fried truck endorsed by a clown
Canyonero! Canyonero!
Hey, hey!
Twelve yards long, two lanes wide,
Sixty five tons of American pride!
Canyonero! Canyonero!
Top of the line in utility sports,
Unexplained fires are a matter for the courts!

She's a squirrel-squashin', deer-smackin' drivin' machine
Canyonero! Canyonero! Canyonero!
Whoa, Canyonero! Whoa!

Here's an oldie. A Daihatsu Scat.

I believe it was also sold as the Toyota Lizzard, and was the precursor to the Rocky.

<edit> Here's a funny one. Holden Commodore Supercharged V6, wow a big 171kw there!

Weren't NA XR6 (VCT) models more powerful??

Read the post again.

He wasn't having a go at you, he was saying that that migt be the reason, but wasn't sure. He wasn't calling you silly, he was saying that the name was silly if Kompressor wasn't German for Supercharger. He was agreeing with you...

Their are lot of fun names for cars out there. Friday afternoon around the boardroom table must be a real party : to come up with some of those names.

Smart ForTwo (2 door)
Smart ForFour (4 door)
Smart ForMore (4wd)
Toyota Kluger (Clueless)
Hyundai Sante Fe (Commonly used as speed cameras so Santa can bring you a speeding ticket for Christmas)
Ford KA (pronounced car, saying I drive a Ford car doesn't explain a lot)
Suzuki Ignus / Holden Cruze (Same car, both dodgy names)
Hyundai S-coupe (Scoop it up and throw it away)
Nissan/Datsun Sunny (No explanation needed)
Toyota Echo (Self explanatory)
Daihatsu Applause (I wouldn't clap and cheer for this POS)
Daihatsu Terios (Terrier - The 1m wide 4wd sounds like a dog)

I know a lot of these have already been mentioned but they are certainly dodgy names
