CASPER - Noted, sorry, humour mode 'ON'. Warning triangle at rest......

It's been a very serious four years for me and the last few weeks/months particularly so.... guess my humour is on vacation....

Do you get along with his kids? Are you prepared to accept them? Children are generally a woman's first love, be assured.

Society is filled with stories of hideous step-fathers, don't be one of them.

Is the husband moving on or just fighting to keep his family, or other? Concerns of a love-triangle here, this is not suited to emergency roadway use:-)
OK, could've been a little more clear here...

On the rocks for 2.5 before I came along...

The kids are mine, just making the point that even after I'd had kids with her, bought a house etc. He remains unwilling to come to the party with a divorce.

Yes I love her and would lay my life down to ensure my kids still had their mother around.

The whole divorce issue means little to me, if anything I'm anti-marriage. As far as I'm concerned, it is an institution of the church and I am not at all religious. Besides, will it actually make me love her any more... I think not.

Even without a certificate to say I spent a house deposit on a party, I am just as responsible/liable to ensure the wellbeing of her & the kids should we part.

As they were legally seperated for 2 years, none of our acquired assets are up for grabs on finalisation of the divorce.

We could go to court and have the issue sorted but again, there goes a heap of money which could be better invested in our current life.

Sorry for the confusion, on re-reading my post, I can see how it could be misconstrued.

Didn't take it as a lack of humour... Seemed as though you had a few legitimate concerns there...

Take it easy

My ex wife and I got all the divorce papers off the internet, all ligit via the Federal Court. Cost bugger all, but we didn't have any kids or arguements etc. Somehow she ended up with both the dogs though...
