We'll just wait and make sure the date is avaliable then I'll start a new thread.

Sorry buckie, as much as a SA cruise would be fun its too hard to get a lot of people interested in something that long and expensive. This is a family BBQ day. Cheap, easy and lots of fun for the owners and their families.

Yeah that's cool. I know myself that local events are good, but getting people on long road trips is hard.

Yeah families, fuel costs, accommodation gets in the way
Fortunately I don't have any of those problems and march 19 for a VIC meet would be perfect as I plan to be at borderline speedway in MT GAMBIER the night before and can head to VIC from there the next morning.
Normally I would not take the falcon but will do this time but will need a good self serve place to wash/detail the car in melbourne

I love going to victoria, some beautiful roads, people, cars (especially hamilton and horsham) and always something going on in summer

Sounds good guys....

So am i correct in saying that we meet somewhere early morning, drive then finish at Albert Park for a BBQ? Or meet there, then cruise in the afternoon? Obviously having a semi decent drive together as a group is just as important as a bit of a snag and a steak!

And if that is the case, id say a morning meet and finish with the BBQ.

Look forward to hearing more details... should be good no matter what

COMMONWEALTH GAMES : :

That's the only thing stopping us from having the bbq on the 19th.
The girl at Parks Victoria may think the dates will clash but she will let me know asap.

Lets just wait for a confirmed date. :

Mick.
