I wanted to break up the manotany of the black, so i went with the red since the steering wheel had red leather. and red makes it go faster......lol.

Haven't seen a double fog/driving switch like that ... that's cool.
Different place to mount it though ... but not bad at all.
I have a hidden driving light switch (it stays on all of the time though) .. and my fog light switch is on the right side of the steering column.

Absolute bargain on the steering wheel too.

Now you need to somehow change the cluster face to red to match the rest of the interior.

yeah, i was thinking of doing the cluster face in red. There's a company on ebay that sells custom faces, was thinking of getting one from there. will have to wait on that though, have more important bits to get first.

I bought them off ebay for $520.00 and cost $130 to have them shipped. They were out of a ba or bf wreck. Not too shabby for $650 all up. I only had to modify the rails a bit for them to fit.

What mods did you have to do to get those seats in? Your interior is looking damn hot

Thanks XR Lita, all i had to do was grind off the back part of the rails and manipulate them so that it would bolt on to the floor of the au.

electrics not hooked up as of yet. will have to bring it to an auto electrician. but will be worth the extra little cost.

So ... I presume with the seats they are the ute seats with the quick release lever on the back as well????

If the mods to the rails aren't that hard .... I may consider this modification as well.
As I do like the B-series XR seats ... does the base underneath the seat sit lower than the AU seats ... as i don't have much room underneath my driver's seat due to my component amp mounted under there.

No, they're not the ones with the quick release in the back. I have two amps under the drivers seat and one huge one under the passenger seat. Once i cut the back piece off the rails they sat about the same as the originals. without chopping the back of the rails they were way to high.

Ahhhh OK ... I was tempted at getting some AU LTD leather front seats from a wrecker as they were $300 for the pair ... but didn't have the quick release (which I kinda need) ... oh well ... was a bargain though ... seats were in good nick.

Those XR ones though are better bolstered though ... I'd rather them.
I might have a look around and see what i can find.
