Mate, if you think slagging off a piece of Australian motoring history because you dont 'feel it' will get you browny points round here your dreaming...been there, learnt that and still carrying the bruises to prove it(in an AFF way)! It is what it is, and without the tireless work of PB to keep the V8 war going in this country in the days when Ford opted for an injected 6 instead we'd all be driving prius'. I drive a VL which is why I'm happy to say whether you pay $3000 or $300,000 it's still a VL. And if you can't handle people on an Internet forum having their own opinion you might want to get another pastime or you're in for a lot of disappointment. I never said it wasn't a part of motoring history or there was anything wrong with it at all, and it was more than likely a great car compared to everything else of it's time, but an opinion is just that, an opinion and everyone has one buddy so if you just want everyone to agree with you go to a VL Commodore forum.

Could say the same for you mate. Sounds like you want to own a piece of Australian motoring history more than me. Good luck with it.

The guy I bought my Falcon off had a 001 Plate Peter Broke VL Turbo... hadn't been registered for a long time.. was blue and looked a lot better then the one in the picture.. wonder what it's worth? (I did see it, but didn't see the compliance plate with the build number, so it is possible that he was bullshitting me)
