Well, was there anything simililar to this available 30-40 years ago and is it a collectable now I wonder?
We all know of cars that were worth a 'pittance' at time of release and stayed like that for several years only to have their value shoot through the roof due to their scarcity / uniqueness. Will those 'times' ever happen again? Who knows!

It is worth $75k. Maybe not in the current market. But is a GTHO really worth three times a Boss 302 Mustang. The price of collectables is always random. Sadly it's real worth is that of a museum piece. Remember, there was a time when P5 LTDs and Landau's were only good for parts.

To me personally I admire it as a nice car but if it was sitting in a museum I'd have a look but it wouldn't get me to excited.. especially if it was amongst other muscle cars.
Lets be honest if we all had $75k and had to choose between a Fairlane or GT which one would you buy ?

I'm acquiring parts to do a project on a BF fairlane so I should be excited, and yet something deep inside me really wants that LTD.

I liked the wheels, but the differentiation was gone...
