2.7 claims in 7yrs versus 1.9 in 3yrs for most manufacturers.
Not too bad, imho. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/motoring/...y-success.html

Ahh ok, the 7 year thing started 7 years ago in the UK. Not bad actually considering their road conditions are worse than ours IMO. Well, that article does say it was a positive move for Kia.

My Kia is 18 months old with a 5 yr warranty and so far its been in for....um, they've replaced.....er, the widget on the flux capacitor has been replaced under warranty, just like "all" these other problem kias. Actually, no, the only issue is the dash has a rattle when the weather is cold. Thats it.

Kia has a major issue regarding parts.
Headlights, bumpers, mirrors etc are fine. But if you need new carpet, wiring loom, headrest they dont even have part numbers listed for them, letalone any availability.

There have been issues from total engine failure, airbags not deploying to simple electrical things like heated seats not working and gearbox electronics playing up! How about you grow up, and do some research before you call someone out! And I'm not attacking KIA if that's your problem. I'm amazed at their 7yr warranty and think its a winner. Kia even free of charge extended peoples capped price servicing on cars bought before the 7 year warranty came out......out to 7 years for them, even if their warranty was only 5 yrs. not bad! I was just stating that they along with every other brand have issues! Jeez...... Last edited by 1TUFFUTE; 15-04-2015 at 11:58 PM. |

That's two FGX's in total - a ute & a sedan.
