I remember going an unfranchised Video Hire Store
I remember renting a beta video I remember the video 'remote' control had a cord coming out of the front of it. I remember my old man's video camera rested on your shoulder and you had to carry another pack the size of a briefcase over the other shoulder for the video recorder unit. |

I remember ash wednesday that sent smoke and ash across the suburbs of Melbourne and the dust storm that scared the life out of me.
I remember the Russell St bombing and the cold blooded execution of Tynan & Eyre I remember Dad telling me Space Shuttle Columbia (?) blew up. I remember Quentin being interveiwed by Ray Martin (same hair style as today) and that my Mum though George Negus was her definition of 'thinking womans crumpet' |

yeah, when Hey Hey was a Morning show.
I grew up in Albury/Wodonga so we didnt get it but holidays in Melb with dad were great! 4 channels to choose from.. AWESOME. We only had 2!

One the out there shows----- Dr WHO - on channel two.
Then countdown at six o clock ----- sat or sun cant remember-- and Brian Henderson was the host at one stage too from memory. have to ask one of the senior forum members. lol .....

LOL @ chips there has been alot of press about that lately....I wonder when they are going to do a remake Dukes of Hazard style...I loved Chips and Dukes of Hazard...But Mum always used to watch The Love Boat arggggggggggghhhhhhhhhh......I remember when the A Team first came out that was HUGE @ the time.....
I also remember Micheal Jackson before he was a dirty old man and before he had a face of melted plastic...... How about Boris the Black Knight? ring any bells? Lissa
