Yes, I can confirm. This is unavoidable, and a damn shame. It also leaves a cabin available. Send me a pm if anyone wants it. Apologies.

Ok, sorry if anyone had a heart palpitation, or whether it mattered or not. But it seems that all is not lost. Back in folks.... It became avoidable.

Pleased to see you're back on board Kev - we would be sad not to have you over here! Now don't you let Jimmy (Wokkas) lead you astray.....I know of some of the places he frequents and I'm not talking about my home!

Tony - will do a dedicated exploration on Tuesday to find you the meeting place. Been very busy with a house guest and the Clipsal. Will post you the details on Tuesday evening.

Look forward to seeing you all next weekend - if I survive Clipsal!

Cheers
Gaela

The precedent of stripping weight and using full slicks was set years ago now.

So if you want to beat em, ya gotta join em, and being manual makes the time even more credible.

Default Adelaide

Hi to all. Tony asked me to find a meeting spot for you all for the morning of the show so I travelled down to Brighton this morning to have a bit of a scout around.

Best meeting point is:

Seacliff Paint and Panel
Cnr of Brighton Road & Seacombe Road, only a couple of minutes from the Camping ground and the show is further up Seacombe Rd. Enough room there for all the cars and easy access. Craig will be coming from the other direction as he is staying North of the City so he can either borrow a map or meet me on the road somewhere, as my place is in between.

Best Car washing areas:

BP (Big one with 3-4 wash bays - DIY)
Cnr Sturt Road and Brighton Road, about 3-4 minutes from the Camp. Masses of room to work on your cars there.

The Wash, on Unley Road.
Here you sit and drink lattes while a heap of boys hand wash your car and chamois it off. I go there, but some of you might not be happy with someone else touching your baby. Cost is about $20 to wash and dry the exterior.

Hope this helps.

Cheers
Gaela

Good hunting there Gaela, certainly gives us a plan of attack. I will follow Doc's advice and pre-detail the car before I leave. So a $20 wash and Latté sounds killer to me.

See you Saturday maybe.

Kev.

Got plans for Saturday afternoon and evening but will park my chair with you on Sunday (as my car will be in the FPV Section) and we'll have a catch up. Remember I have the picnic basket so just bring your drinks. Any special culinary requests need to be mentioned now. Is your son still coming with you, Kev?

Cheers

Hi Gaela,

Approximately how long will it take me to get from Two Wells down to the Brighton area?

I am guessing about an hour does this sound right?

Regards Craig

P.S. I should have another piece of pipe for you shaker as well.
