and look at that bmw with the bodykit.some peoplejust have no idea.
kids these days just cant stick enough crap on there car.

I can't imagine you would have too much success trying to negotiate slight bends without ripping the front bar off and driving over it.

No, that Landcruiser has a mountain of work done to it, and its awesome, I think so anyway. An amazing piece of engineering.

Can someone please explain to me what the deal is with the tyres that are about an inch too narrow for the rims? See that all the time on ricers, and you would hate to get too close to a gutter with them, no rubber protecting them etc. It just looks so horrid though, with the metal protruding from the tyres - looks like people cant afford big enough rubber for the rims they bought...

Hmmmm.

XRchic, it started with the drifters that do touge runs in the mountains in Japan, their car's couldn't take the wide wheel and tyre combo so they used the narrower tyre to fit it under the guard. Or for the guys running less power they have less tyre to try and spin but still get the dished "drift" look

Cheers

I thought the term 'rice' originally came from 'rice burner' meaning the car was fueled by rice i.e. its from Japan, and that it wasn't anything to do with modifications??

I heard that long after rice burner. I think they made up that just to cop less flack and make it something 'cool'.

the skinny tyre stretched out on a rim removes nearly all the sidewall flex .. more precise feel when drifting
