Thanks for the nice comments, I reckon I have got maybe 20 or 30 more pics left to scan. Unfortuatly back in the days, I was 18 years old and had no money for film or processing. Couldnt even afford a flash. I am sad I didnt take a heap more pics but also happy I kept the few that I did take. Ahhhhh, those were the days

Great effort thanks for sharing. You got some great shots. Some of them look like you were really close, did you get some sort of pass to be on the track? Just noticed the fence looks really close to the track. Great photos.

Awesome Dave. Cant believe you found some footage of the old girl. Not used to seeing it with its head down bum up down the strip. I was very young at the time and Im not sure why but IMO that car was greatest car Ive ever seen in SA. I know there's bigger badder faster cars but at the time and era no matter what choice of car you supported the crowd always rose.
