Anyone know what the rear axle load limit is on the F150, I know the Ram can pull 4.5t but once you put the 450kg ball weight on it there isnt much payload room,.
How does this compare.

Well luckily for me (and you by the sounds) mate I live in the country and I don’t park in shopping centres or drive up a narrow street! I tow regularly and quite honestly, the Thailand trucks aren’t up to the job for some people, myself included! Honestly if your towing more than 3 tonnes, you shouldn’t be towing in a Thailand truck and that’s why these American trucks are now becoming so popular because ‘legally’, you can tow more than 3 tonnes safely..

A better BINGO, spot on, paying $150k for any truck is new territory here generally for the punters.
Barring the exceptions BUT if you have a choice most would go the biggest for the capacity, I just wonder how the punters would afford the fuel bills.

A question that relates to the RAM and Chevy's too, but what happens to all the components that get replaced for the RHD conversions, the huge dashboard in particular?

What - the RAM does like 12L/100km on the highway, that's less than my Caprice does.

If you can afford a $120,000 Ute, you can afford to put fuel in it even if it was doing 50L/100km

I'd be more annoyed at their drivers literally looking down on us lowly dinosaur sedan drivers, then taking us with ease at the lights.

Like I said in my post , the average punter not the ones who can - a lot of average punters can afford a Thai special on average income.
By the way city trucks are no where near hwy cycles p/l as you know.

Just wave to them with your little finger, they'll get the idea.

Even better if you can get your wife/girlfriend to do it

Considering the amount of stuff they would have to strip out of it, i'd say by the time they are done it would just be the dash shell. Which they would scrap.

All the stuff behind it, all the electrical components, HVAC, cluster etc would most likely end up in a new shell set up for RHD. They would try to re-use as many components as they could.

Simple really. Just look at who posted it and you'll probably have a reasonable idea.

Well...don't buy one, simple.

Plenty of people will want one, these American pickup's offer a better option for towing larger trailers than something like an Iveco Daily.
