hey I have an au series one xls ute and yesterday my remote just stopped working ,I replaced the battery in the remote and tried disconecting and reconecting the battery also tried the dimister thing,Ibelieve it is electical because both doors dont lock is there any way to test the remote or fuses or something ???

does the red light on the remote light up?
check the central locking fuse in the fuse panel? check in the owners manual for which one it is |

maybe you got a fault in your bem module.
try cleaning the connector plugs on it and see how it goes but you really need to take it to someone who has a wds or ids to diagnose it properly |
