has anyone here done this, if so does it work or do you just need to change the usual 4 wires?. will it show up DTE?

i have. i put a s2 t-series dash in a fairlane....few probs...which usual four wires need changing?????

umm abs light, dim light and right hand indicator. thats all i can remember. thats for fortes and stuff. what problems did you have?

oil pressure not registering, trip computer not registering and the drivers door not registering...everything else works great...

oil pressure. i thought that would work. are you talking about the gauge or light? did your old dash have a gauge?

yeah the old dash had the gauge... its got me beat.. i guess its just a couple of wires...i hope.

ok it will work if you do the usual 4 wire routine but and this is the big but the oil gague is only a dummy gague on the S2 and uses a switch and not a sender so it shows 3/4 or zero it looks like a gague but is realy just like an idiot light if you still have a sender in the gague will register zero. i put a tickford cluster in my S3 SR and put a sender in thought my cluster was roo**d but eventually worked it out . btw you can't go S1 into a S@/3 the stereo volume will shoot up to max and deafen you : it is something to do with the speed alaet wiring even if SA is not fitted good luck
