Ok well I was looking through AWC's site dreaming of things to do to the au as usaul and one thing I've always wanted to know is the story with the carbon fibre. What is so good about the kevlar inner skin like what advantages does it offer over fibreglass. And how much weight is saved (roughly) from fiberglass to carbon fibre and is it paintable of do people just use it as a **** factor?
Thanks Phil |

Would you trust a bullet proof vest made from fibreglass though? Me either. When it comes to a tack on bulge that is only for the appearance, the fibreglass is just fine for me

The fibreglass bonnets weigh a fair bit less then the standard ones, so it would make it goe faster. Only by a millionth of a second or so, but still faster.

Anything that doesn't make it go faster, is for **** value! was what I took issue with i agree there are good and bad body mods but MNM96 seems to think that we should all only spend money on performance and not looks or we are W.A.N.K.E.R.S we are all individual but we all think the AU is Gr8 so lets all get on with out efforts to make our ride unique without insulting others for their efforts |
