Hi there guys,
I have an issue with the aircon/heater fan in my AUII Futura. Everytime I accelerate above 2000rpm the air is re-diredted out to the windscreen instead of through the vents. Once the car reaches it's cruise the air is again directed through the vents. Sounds like a vac line isn't doing it's job or something similar to me. Would like to get this sorted out before the heat arrives. Thanks guys : |

Bit of a thread mine here I know but has anyone got a solution to this? Mine would be more engine bay related I think as the car has recently had an engine swap

5.8,
It is a record thread mine alright. Re the problem, it sounds like vacuum related. Check vacuum lines in engine bay. Regards, George V. |

I fixed mine, it was the vacuum line beside the fitting where the brake booster hose connects. It had come off, I was probably a bit slack hooking it up when I put it back on.
