Default 2002 falcon

Hi all
I have a problem with my 2002 falcon (auto) sometimes it seems to start on only 4 cylinders and not all 6, and then reverts back to 6 after about a minute or so. I have had it at Ford to try and recitfy the problem but as it only does it intermitterly could not locate problem. Has anyone this same problem and offer any advice?

Thanks
Shaun :togo:

I had a similar problem. It was the coil pack that was the problem, also had the leads replaced. Worked greater after that.

Since you say you have replaced all the ignition components, what does your temperature gauge show when it does it? Might be failsafe cooling. Because it's a wasted spark system, an ECU or wiring fault could cause it to lose two cylinders as well.
