Default Au II Brakes

Hey guys,

Ive just aquired a AU II Futura Wagon, So it will be my daily driver so i can keep the typhoon for my Sunday drive :evil3: Im wanting to change the brake rotor's as they are badly warped and shuddering, Im not going to machine them as it will turn to $#it the first hard brake i do, So what im asking is,

Are the Front Rotors the same set up as the E-series eg, bearings have to be changed regreased a pain really?

Or are they a simple wheel off undo caliper and pull rotor off?

any help is really appreciated

Cheers Tristan

Edit: I CBF to pull the wheel off myself to find out myself so your the next best thing guys :

Second option - same as the BA/BFs (although really, BA/Fs are the same as AUs.

You will need DBA502SL for the front & 503 for the rear of yours being an AU2 (500 & 501 were for AU1).

If you wanted to go for BA rotors....

RDA504 front, and RDA505 rear

Don't forget that you can also go for slotted, or slotted and dimpled...on both AU2/3 and BA/BF

And in regards to pulling the rotors off...Just unbolt caliper, and slip the rotor off.

Just the way we like it...Simple hat style rotors...rather than the hub style of the earlier models.

Thanks for the info but she is only a daily so slotted etc is not really nessisary, thats for the typhoon!!

I have a used set of series 3 front rotors with less than 5k on them, still with plenty of meat. Let me know if you want, you can have them for $80 the lot.

No worries about the fitting, and I could pay for them, and then sell them to you at 50% mark up (just like a brake place then). All you have to do is drop the car off to me in sunny Canberra!
