now i realise this has probly been asked before but i cant find anything relavant to my situation.....
I have the undermentioned AU1 XR6 with the hp motor in it. This car is used for mainly daily driving with the odd trip to WSID and occasional dyno days. It is essentialy stock except for a k+n panel(soon to be a pod) and a 2.5inch mandrel bent exhaust. Im torn between the JMM race series long headers and the pacie 4480's or 4499's. fuel economy isnt an issue here but drivability is, of course I'd like a power increase but a torque increase is more important. Useful comments only thanks guys!

JMM race series will give the best torque, The Pacemaker Comps are the most common and what everyone seems to get decent results with.
The fastest AU6 thats been recorded uses Difillipo. |

the pacemaker comps are better for high RPM use where the standard paceys are better for low down work. also wort considering id advance i have a set and they are good particularly down low

My bad, I thought the 4499's were the Comp's.

If you want it to be nicer on the street I'd go the 4499's. The others are aimed at all out power up top at the expense of low down torque.

the advance headers worry me i would think it would better to have the O2 sensor reading all 6 cylinders

I have used the Pacemaker 4499's, JMM scavengers and the JMM race.
The 4499's felt much the same as the JMM scavengers, though the JMM race headers felt much better than both, right through the range. Rick.

i've had the old press bend lukeys (try y)and now got the 4480's.in my opinoin the 4480's produce more low to mid range than my previuos lukey's.
i always thought the try y desigin with the long primaries coming straight of the head produced more topend
