just after a few websites so i can have a read on the legalities of importation of cars from the U.S
looking for all info such as what can/cant be imported, how long you have to own before sale, legalities to rego here, how old/new the car has to be etc etc. not looking for heresay or my mates uncles pet dogs toy barbie doll type thing, just some links to various sites that have this info. im sure there is such a place but i dont know where to start. im not actually looking at doing this anytime soon, just want to understand what needs to happen if i do decide at a later stage. Vicroads has a little but is very limited. |

There's a mate of mine (in Melb) on another forum who used to import cars from the U.S. I'll see if I can get hold of him.
Could take a day or two.

Ohhhhhh if you want to import something Pre-1978, there are SO many possibilities it's not even funny. I'll be interested to see what you end up with. If it was me personally with enough cash I'd get a 68-69 Camaro Z/28 with the DZ302. That's me.

Im interested in similar information, but in the reverse. Where can I find the regs for taking a vehicle over to America? Also interested in UK and Europe.
