Default Full Licence

Very quick question. I have just received my full license in the mail (was on my P's). Does my full licence take affect from now? or from the expiry date on the old licence? They don't have a start date on them, so i'd assume now.

firstly, you didn't mention what state you're in, but i'd say if you received your full license, then it's applicable from now. Just check what date it was when you got your P's, and count down how ever many years it was to what date it is today.

Or, the most simple, ring your roads authority ?

If it was Vict, I doubt you would get it in the mail, unless you are in a remote area.

The new licence will start from the expiry of the old one, but I would carry both until the old one expires.

Yea, got it in Vic Metro. I'll just carry them both around for a few weeks.

Are you planning on getting some speeding fines prior to the full version taking effect?
