just a thread to see who uses car bra's and who wouldn't touch put one on their car at all.
personally i have one on my AU xr6 and i like it for the fact that when you go away you don't get any stone chips on the front of the car and bugs won't mark the front if it's hot and you don't get a chance to wash it. if put on properly and used in the right manner such as cleaning the car before putting it on and taking it off when you have reached where your going to and don't leave it on for weeks at a time whiched i have noticed on some cars that i see i don't have any issues with mine. |

Yep, pretty much what swan_ford said. Never on a day to day basis, but on long trips.

Both my AU and Mustang have car Bra and they are really good for open road driving, not only for stone chips but this time of year it saves lots of time in cleaning bugs of the cars. They are not recommended for daily use as mentioned above and should not be left on cars if wet.

i have one for my car but never use it, being in tas the longest drives are never much more than 2 hours, sadly before i got the car the car bra had been left on wet, so i have two small water marks on the bonnet, but i will be getting a boss buldge one day so that means new paint, so no drama!

Has anyone ever had a custom car-bra made?
I've got an aftermarket front bar and we go away 3 or 4 times a year. As a result I'm in stone-chip purgatory. |
