Lol why don’t you do what they, have been around here.

When the cops come to pick up the car, the engine has been swapped out, any thing of any value has been removed.

Though I have to wounder how well they get on with the cops after they do that.

mate...it still shows up as a **** (XR8, SS, whatever) model under rego with engine and all that, also they can hear the exhaust, theres a fairly big difference between the sound of a 4cyl, 6cyl, 6cyl Turbo, and V8..after that they'll look under the bonnet and your gone.

Don't eff with the law..cause they'll eff you back harder than you could imagine

Why in ** would you post this on the internet, which is going to certainly result in dozens of made or guessed answers when you could get the actual answer with a single phone call? Now where do you think that phone call could be made to? I can actually think of a couple of places!

Grrr! The internet generation just doesn't think sometimes!

Fine, I won't imply it, I'll say it:

If you're too stupid to pick the phone and ring either the police station or the RTA and get an ACCURATE answer, please don't blame me or anyone else.

This thread has had 19 replies for a question an idiot could get a correct answer for in less than 10 minutes. I think my point is proved.

also think logically..loss of licence is a given along with a fine, and they'll keep an eye on you for a while to make sure you arent driving it anymore

The thread is closed.

If you actually want to know what will happen then I am sure your State Police Information Office would be only too happy to provide you with that information - or you could simply look at the NSW Traffic Act (and amendments) where the punishment is quite clearly spelt out.
