The walbro is very noisy again. My data logs are showing fuel leanout up top. I tried tuning more fuel in via the haltech but it just is making little ifference. After a few runs the car just gets leaner. I am thinking of a surge tank somewhere on the wagon. Maybe I will install it underneath somehow? I am not sure. Where should I install the surge tank? What can I expect to pay for one? I am thinking of reinstalling the standard pump to feed the tank..
Any comments on how to do this guys would be great?Or if there is a better pump? Stav

Why would you want a surge tank?
Just get a new pump, you're not making power even remotely close to justify a surge tank. In fact you should easily be able to use a standard pump, you must have a problem elsewhere. Check the fuel filter, pump pressure, etc. Rick.

Ive got a new filter to go in and also I am going to turn up the fuel pressure to see if that makes a difference. The walbro seems more susceptible to surge when the tank gets 1/3 tank or less.
I really cant get it below 13.4 air fuel ratio with the chip set to make it rich.I cant take chances by running it as is.I may not blow it up but it sure wont be running spot on.
