This is mainly for people who are entering the 'SUPERCHARGED BOSS CLASS'
My BA is a modular motor 3V with a turbo. I am considering entering the Nationals and want to go in this class. My opinion and the opinion of my friends as it is a BA V8 and it is boosted it should be fine. I have asked the promotor and he said it will be okay, as long as no one protests it. I don't want to go to all the effort only to get there and find someone does object. I have spoken to Chris at Bluepower ( a major supercharged boss contributor) and he said he has no objections to it. He also commented that it should be more of a 'boosted modular' class. That way it is open to ALL modular engines that are boosted, ( I presume chemically or mechanically) This is how ANDRA work. By rights my car is a 3V, so it is nothing compared to the big 4Valve engines that are out there. But would be nice to be in a class with simular cars. I am asking if anyone objects to this, please let me know. It would be nice to get a response from Yella Terra ( another supercharged Boss provider) regarding this. Thanks for your time Paul

No problems here, It should be renamed as "Modular Engine Cars with Power Adders" ie Supercharged, Turbo or Nitrous. Or Supercharged and NOS like Chris will probably run....lol.
Either way i will look forward to giving you a run in a 3V supercharged car Paul. Cheers Craig |
