Default 99 AU Boot Strut Mounts Rusted and Snapped Off

Hey guys,
Both of the little ball mounts for the boot gas struts have rusted and snapped off.
I know there was a recall/fix from ford aggggges ago. But what are my options to get this fixed now?

Take it to a panel beaters and get new ones welded on, or is there something else that everyone has done?

Steve

I think you may have to take a trip to the panelbeaters mate, unless you are handy with a welder?
