Will post mine a bit later (I have reset it a few times).
Might also be worthwhile putting in your message which model you have. |

13179 km
52km/hr 8.8lt/100km on 95RON Driven mostly M4 & GWH (Sydney to Blue Mountains) Last weekend drove to Canberra with wife, two kids, and golden retriever in the hatch, plus trailer of furniture, calculated just over 9lt/100k for the journey. Car pulled like a dream, much better than XR6 with a similar load, changed down from 6th only once or twice for the entire trip.

We also had an overnight bag in with him, the beauty of a big boot/hatch. He used to travel on the back seat between the kids in the XR6, on the leather, but it was a company car so not the same worry about damage.

What about a blanket! my mate got the best seat regardless who was in the car actually a so called friend who is no longer a friend said "move the dog from the front seat" he was a blind Shitzu and I said "Pi$$ off" he disliked animals and I'm afraid I dislike those that dislike animals or who are cruel to them my mate was part of the family and was treated that way

To clear up any misaprehensions, I did not have the hatch cover on when he was in the boot!
Better off anyway, rather than be between 14yr and 9yr old boys fighting on the back seat for 3 hours.

Sounds a good idea to me.
Maybe you need the wagon when it eventually gets here.

I would probably go the SUV route. Like the Lexus RX400 Hybrid or go an XR5. Other option is to get the fiance to trade in her MX5 for a first mummie's car (CRX, RAV4, Forrester or the like). |
