Ok guys and gals.
My windscreen wipers stopped dead halfway through a cycle. You can hear the motor whirring, and the gear clicking, but they just dont move. What as happened and how do I fix it? Josh

Try having a look above your firewall where the wiper motor is and see if the arm is still attached to the motor.
Adam.

Thatd do it.
Grommet that holds the arm on had sheared off. Tried cable ties, they just snap. I had some bits left in the headgasket kit I bought to do the head, so I used a tappet cover bolt grommet, fit nice and snug, thank god. Who knows for how long though.

Something isnt right with them, lol.
They only go three quaters of the way up the windscreen, I thought Id just aligned them wrong, but when I acclerate, they go all the way and hit the A pillar, then all the way down and hit the bonnet. If I turn right, they go about halfway up the windscreen, but if I turn left, they go and hit the A pillar and bonnet again, lol. Any ideas?
